We’ve teamed up with the National Gallery of Australia and artist Aretha Brown to bring her black-and-white world to the Baseline. Every line, shape and symbol tells a story - of country, of women, of Dreamtime stars - “I have to say a lot with not a lot… it’s kind of who I am now.” The tongue carries a Gumbaynggirr women’s symbol, a quiet reminder to keep land front of mind, while the heel carries her ongoing Teach Blak History message.
